The Munay Ki Rites are Nine Sacred Initiations from the Andes that heal past wounds, awaken spiritual potential, and connect participants to a lineage of luminous healers. The Rites come from the Peruvian Mountain and Coastal Shamans, as well as the Amazon Jungle Shamans, these energetic transmissions are designed to help you open your heart, strengthen your intuition, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
The name of these rites, Munay Ki, originates from the Quechuan word for love, Munay. However, this is not the kind of love we may be more familiar with. Munay is not merely an emotion; it is pure energy. It embodies the great Love that Pachamama (Mother Earth) has for us, the light that Inti Tayta (Father Sun) shines upon us, and Munay as Unconditional Love.
The word Ki is not Quechuan, but it represents the healing power of these rites and their ability to help us to achieve greater harmony. According to this tradition, there are three power centers within the body: Yanchay, the power of Wisdom, located in the 6th chakra. Munay, the power of Love, centred in the heart. And Yan’kay, the power of Service, rooted in the belly.
Through a personal healing journey, these rites help you align with ‘ayni’—what the Q’ero describe as living in right relationship with all of creation, embodying the energetic qualities of Wisdom, Love, and Service.
These sacred initiations from the Inca tradition are passed from person to person, planting the seeds of change within your DNA and energetic structure. As love and power work in harmony, you are released from the constraints of your past, awakening the highest potential of what it means to be human. This process nurtures a deep sense of belonging, purpose, and the ability to make a meaningful difference while living in right relationship with the world.
As these archetypal energies are integrated into our energy fields, we become vessels capable of holding a new vision for Earth. Together, we consciously co-create a world where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging, leads lives filled with meaning and purpose, and lives in right relationship with all beings.
Alongside many indigenous peoples around the world, we stand on the threshold of an extraordinary time in human evolution. As the old world falls away, we are actively building a new one.
PURPOSE AND BENEFITS
Receiving the Munay Ki Rites is said to:
THE 9 RITES
Connects you to a lineage of luminous healers from the past to assist you in your personal transformation, awakening the healing power so that everyone you touch is blessed. We access tremendous spiritual assistance; ancient healers who help heal the wounds of the past and of our ancestors. Activates the ability to heal oneself and others.
These are five energetic belts woven around the body with the essence of each element: earth, water, fire, air, and pure light. These bands strengthen our connection with nature and act as filters disintegrating negative and heavy energies, thus protecting us physically and psychically. Five energetic bands woven into our energy field, transmuting heavy energies into pure elements.
It connects us to animal spirits Serpent, Jaguar, Hummingbird, Eagle, and Condor that reset our instincts so we can maintain physical and emotional integrity. For example, they warn us about the right relationships with people, at the right times, and at the right places. In addition, it connects us to the Guardians of the three mythical worlds: upper, middle, and lower. These keepers guide our evolution, instigating us to heal our past and guiding us to a healthy and auspicious future. Transmits seven archetypal energies into the chakras, fostering balance, harmony, and alignment.
It establishes new neural connections between the visual cortex, the third eye, and the heart. Thus, the inner vision of the invisible world of subtle energies is awakened together with the grace of those who see with the eyes of love and compassion. Activates the third eye, enhancing intuitive vision and spiritual perception.
It initiates us to a lineage of medicine men and women who bring health and harmony to a community by activating and feeding their altars. The elements earth, water, wind, fire, space are honoured and balanced with prayers and intention so life may flow in sacred order. This lineage brings great awareness of the gentle and receptive qualities of life, healing and empowering our relationship to the feminine.
The wisdom of this lineage is not about accumulating information in our heads the way a computer does on its hard drive. The Wisdom Lineage remembers how to dialogue with nature, understanding in their hearts the energy that moves her cycles and rhythms. In the Andes they are renowned for their ability to call lightning and for their intimate connection with the guardian spirits of the mountains. Honours the wisdom of the mountain spirits, bringing healing to the masculine energies.
These men and women have the truest and broadest vision about the meaning of life on Earth. They are not the ones handling the greatest amount of theories and scientific data about the evolution of species. Rather, they have the perspective of life from the consciousness of the sun and the stars that illuminate us. In the mystical Andes they are recognized as the ascended masters who communicate with the stars and masticate their knowledge to deliver it in a soft, discreet, and digestible way to their peoples. Just as a mother chews food for her baby who doesn’t have teeth. Connects participants with the healing energy of the Earth, balancing the feminine.
This initiation awakens the perception of our possible future, warning us about the dangers and opportunities; about the horrors and the beauty. It is the awareness of prophets who do not only know the prophecy from a distance but take an active role in affecting change for a better destiny. This initiation opens the doorway to lucidly participate in our evolution from ‘homo sapiens’ to ‘homo luminous’; it prepares the recipient for the leap in consciousness, attuning them to the new era of humanity. Anchors you into cosmic rhythms, connecting to future possibilities and universal cycles.
This initiation stimulates us to discover our infinite nature not separated from the creative source and all of creation; makes us sensible to our manifesting power and teaches us to dream the world into being. The helps us realize that creating is not only a privilege, but also a responsibility, for which, it invites us to create with great love and courage. Awakens the divine spark within, allowing individuals to embody their highest potential as Universal Beings.

Before the Rite of the Womb there were 9 Munay Ki Rites.
This rite was originally known as the 13th Munay Ki Rite but more recently, Marcela Lobos has changed this to the 10th Munay Ki Rite.
The Rite of the Womb is a very powerful loving energy transmission that will restore the natural balance of your creative centre. The Rite of the Womb is a blessing of the Womb, our sacred place of creation.
The 13th Munay Ki Rite, known as the Kisma Karpay is a profound initiation that emphasizes the Womb’s role as a field of creation and the importance of healing the inherited cycles of suffering.
This rite is a contemporary ritual born of Marcela Lobos, a medicine woman initiated in the healing and spiritual traditions of the Amazon and the Andes.
The Rite of the Womb is a blessing of the Womb, our sacred place of creation. Many women are still carrying the pain and resentment of their mothers, grandmothers and female ancestors. Some feel the wounds of a past life or had traumatic experiences in this lifetime that block their joy and happiness and prevent them from connecting with their feminine power. The healing energy of this blessing will reactive your feminine power
The Rite of the Womb is a medicine that begins to dissolve that inheritance. It restores the original knowing: the Feminine and masculine Body are a temple of creation.

WHAT ARE THE ÑUSTAS?
In the Andean spiritual tradition, the Ñustas are the Goddesses and Sacred Archetypal Feminine energies of Nature. They are the original princesses of Andean cosmology, who draw their power from the great mountains and sacred lakes of Peru. They are also connected to other waters and mountains on our planet.
In the Quechua language of the Andes, the word “Karpay” means a Rite or ceremony of initiation.
In total, there are 144 Ñustas. During this workshop we will connect with the seven main Ñustas. Each Ñusta brings a unique aspect to you, shining a different light on your path. It is the path of feminine healing and the path of the male in deep connection with Mother Earth.
WHO MAY RECEIVE THE ÑUSTAS?
The Ñusta Karpay Rites are open to both men and women, and are available to everyone regardless of their spiritual orientation. They are for those who wish to heal the Divine Feminine within themselves and carry that healing into the world, and for those who wish to bring greater peace and unity to our planet. The Ñustas will allow men to soften inside, while developing more empathy and getting more in tune again with their feelings and intuitions. These initiations will bring women into their own Goddess energy and the original deep femininity.
WHAT WILL I EMBODY FROM THE ÑUSTAS?
The Ñusta will deepen and strengthen your connection to the female energy within you and around you, on Earth and the cosmos, through many layers. These are profound initiations that will have a deep effect.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE FROM RECEIVING THESE RITES?
The Ñusta Rites are given as energetic seeds of the Feminine Goddess Archetypes, and transmitted into your seven chakras and luminous energy field. The chakras are like the organs of our luminous energy field, and hold all our histories, as well as our light and our shadow pieces. As you receive and integrate the initiation of the Ñusta Rites, you begin to stir the contents of your chakras, bringing to the surface any parts of yourself that have not yet been healed or honoured. You will feel the impact of the Ñusta immediately, but like the cycles of the moon and the cycles in nature, her alchemy works in cycles through you.
The Ñustas have gentle, yet powerful energy to deeply heal and restore the balance of feminine and masculine energies within us. Through connecting to the Ñustas, you awaken a deep rapport with the divine feminine. Not only within yourself, but with the feminine in all of creation. Here, you also recognize and begin to heal your true relationship and connection to Mother Earth and all living beings. Through the powerful initiations of the Rites you will experience a real “quickening” in your spiritual growth and personal healing.
THE PROCESS OF ÑUSTA KARPAY RITES
Each Rite is a ceremonial blessing that plants energetic seeds in your being. These seeds represent different aspects of the Ñustas, helping to heal wounds of the past, integrate feminine and masculine energies, and realign with the rhythms of nature and your inner wisdom.
The ceremonies are supported by ancient Andean practices, including prayers, offerings, and rituals that honour Pachamama (Mother Earth).
BENEFITS OF ÑUSTA KARPAY RITES
THE SEVEN ÑUSTA RITES
She is the daughter of Father Sun and Mother Earth and originates from Lake Titicaca. She is the Earth Goddess, Great Mother of all Goddesses and also the Goddess of Wisdom. The essence of Mama Ocllo is to ground us in our own centre, to find our inner sanctity. This Rite heals your female power and restores balance and prepares you to receive the initiations from the other Rites, as it opens your chakras and connects each one with a luminous spiral of light from your root to your crown. During this Rite you will receive the ‘seeds of light’ in each of your chakras.
The Goddess of Water. Mujia means ‘mermaid’ and stands for the ‘spirit of the water’. The energy connected to this Goddess is about ‘letting go’. This initiation helps us release the negative aspects of our ego and opens you to the concept of selfless union with others. Spiral of the Wind, and the Goddess of Communication. This Rite invites you to release all that holds you back from speaking your truth, from stepping into your True Self. This is a deeply cleansing Rite.
